Wednesday, November 25th

Cannes, France to Paris, France to Dublin, Ireland

We left Cannes around 8a.m. and arrived in Paris around 2p.m. Again, I was blown away by the views in the south of France. Mountains, the sea, red rocks and small towns built into the mountains.

We had to be at our AirBnB at 4 so we walked to the Cathedral du Notre Dame. Another old, massive, and beautiful church. A common theme of things that I've seen in Europe. Military soldiers patrolled the streets and all of the tourists destinations carrying small machine guns. Quite scary but you have to think that I am in a country that just declared war against a group of lunatics that bombed Paris less than 2 weeks ago.

We stayed in a 3 room apartment (bathroom, kitchen and bedroom/living room) that was quite nice and in a good location. We had a few bottles of wine and walked to the Eiffel Tower which was lite up in France's colors. I couldn't believe how tall it was. It had to be one of the tallest buildings in all of France. Most of the buildings we saw were only 5-6 stories tall.
