Hello everyone, my name is Tyler Sikora. I am currently a junior communication major with a minor in business. I'm from Buffalo, New York and I'm sure many of you already have a feeling of why I came to Tampa for college, to get away from all of the snow! I actually have no problem shoveling snow it's just the low temperature and wind that makes winter so brutal in Western New York. This is my second semester at the University of Tampa and I'm extremely happy I made the decision to move down here. I originally went to a very small private college in Buffalo called Medaille College. There are only about 1,500 students total with only about 500 living on campus. There are only 5 buildings total on campus, 2 dormitory, 2 academic buildings and a cafeteria/gym.

My first impression of the class is it should be fun. I like how there are people not only from all over the country but from all over the world. It still amazes me how many students come from the northeast like New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, etc. The books that are assigned for the class I thought were relatively cheap on amazon and they seem pretty interesting. I hope to become more aware of different things on the internet but more specifically how potential jobs will look into our social media to see what type of person we actually are.
